Bay Area bike routes

Here are some bike routes I've compiled for recreation throughout the Bay Area and for running errands from Stanford/Palo Alto. More to come soon.

Stanford–San Antonio Shopping Center (Walmart, etc.) 4.0 mi

This route travels exclusively on bike paths and extremely low-traffic residential roads. View on Google Maps or download KML for Google Earth.

1. Head southeast on Escondido Rd to Stanford Ave
2. Turn right at Stanford Ave then a quick left on Hanover St, follow past California Ave and Page Mill Rd intersections
3. Immediately after Hanover St bends to the right, turn left onto the bike path
4. Continue on this bike path until after Gunn High School, where it meets Arastradero Rd
5. Turn left onto Arastradero Rd and after 500 ft turn right onto the bike path
6. Follow this bike path to the end and take a right onto Los Altos Ave
7. Turn left at Loucks Ave and follow it to San Antonio Rd
8. Cross San Antonio Rd and walk north 300 ft to the intersection of San Antonio Rd and El Camino Real
